Shades of Women, Inc. ( S.O.W ), is a faith-based 501c3 non-profit organization committed to serving the needs of women that are in crisis in all aspects of their lives.
Shades of Women, was conceived in May 2011. Stephanie Reid was inspired by God to start a women’s support group. The first inaugural event took place on November 21, 2015 at the United Healthcare Center in Brooklyn, New York. It was the opening of Shades of Women that brought together 19 organizations. We have had forums on Mental Health, Wellness, and Financial Wellness.
